Adobe Certification
 If you are working with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and you want to be sure that people know and understand your level of proficiency with the software, then you should consider Adobe Certification. Adobe runs certification examinations, giving you the chance to become an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE).
Multiple Choice Question Examination
You will need to become familiar with the software, and the best way to do this is to study at one of the training courses that are available before the examination. You will have to be able to use most of the technical features of the package, and you will only be tested on these, not on the uses that you put the features to. The examination is a series of multiple choice questions, with some 90 minutes for their completion. You will need a pass score of 69% to get your Adobe certification.
There are actually several levels of Adobe certification. You can gain Adobe certification in each individual Adobe product, you can certify as a specialist in print, web or video, or you can become a "Master" by passing in all the products in the Adobe Creative Suite. These levels of Adobe certification mean that you can advertise your expertise in the areas that you are interested in, and acquire more Adobe certification as you use more of the software.
